Using the Studio
These Terms apply when you use the connected Portrait Studio on the Atelier Studios website (the “Studio”). Atelier Studios is the public-facing name used by the California sole proprietor operating the Studio (“Atelier,” “we,” or “us”). The Studio is currently a limited, complimentary demo. By using it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Studio. Our Privacy notice explains how information is handled.
Eligibility and your photos
You must be at least 18 and the age of legal majority where you live. The Studio is offered only in eligible U.S. states and D.C., excluding Illinois, and is not offered in U.S. territories or outside the United States.
Upload only photos and instructions you own or are allowed to use. You confirm that you have permission from every identifiable adult shown. For a minor, you must be their parent or legal guardian or have permission from one. Do not submit identity documents, medical, intimate, illegal, or other highly sensitive images.
Studio permission and portrait use
You keep the rights you have in your uploads. You give Atelier and the companies helping operate the Studio limited permission to host, copy, adapt, and process your uploads and instructions as reasonably needed to operate, secure, test, and deliver the Studio experience. The Privacy notice describes how information is handled.
Studio previews and delivered portraits may vary, contain errors, or resemble results made for others. We do not promise originality, uniqueness, a particular result, or that intellectual-property rights will arise in a portrait. To the extent Atelier has the necessary rights, you may use a delivered portrait for lawful personal, noncommercial purposes. Future purchases may have separate terms.
Responsible use
Do not use the Studio to violate another person’s privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights. Do not submit or create illegal, deceptive, impersonating, harassing, hateful, exploitative, sexual, or harmful content. Do not disrupt the Studio, bypass its limits or security, scrape it, or attempt to reverse engineer it.
We may refuse material or limit or suspend access when we reasonably believe use is unsafe, unlawful, abusive, or violates these Terms. Treat delivery and return links as private. Links may expire, and content may not remain recoverable after access ends, so download anything you want to keep.
Demo limits, changes, and contact
We may change, limit, pause, or end the demo at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Studio is provided “as is” and “as available,” without promises that it will be uninterrupted, secure, permanent, or error-free. Atelier is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from Studio use. Nothing here limits rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
California law governs these Terms, except where mandatory law where you live applies. We may update them by posting a revised version and date. Changes apply prospectively.
